Olayemi Karim

Olayemi Karim is a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional with a strong track record in finance, compliance, and financial operations management. She holds an ACA certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a BSc in Accounting from the University of Benin.
Olayemi’s extensive experience includes working with Ernst & Young (EY) in Nigeria and Tanzania, where she successfully managed numerous external audit engagements for major clients, such as Ashland Oil, Statoil, Engen Petroleum, UNHCR, and Celtel. Relocating to the UK, Olayemi continued her career at EY London, leading a range of consulting and internal audit engagements for esteemed clients like Shell Petroleum, Philips, and various NHS Trusts. Her dedication and expertise consistently added value to the organizations she served.
Currently, Olayemi serves as the Head of Finance – Compliance & Operations at C40 Cities, where she expertly manages group financial controls, entity & group reporting, and local country and group accounting and tax compliance. In this role, she ensures adherence to regulations and maintains the highest standards of financial integrity. Uchenna Emeka-Obi

Uchenna S. Emeka-Obi is a seasoned Technology Management Consultant with over two decades of experience in operational, technology, and cybersecurity risk management. Specialising in finance, oil & gas, and consulting sectors, she designs and implements enterprise-wide risk frameworks aligned with regulatory expectations and strategic business goals.
Uche has led numerous high-impact projects, including the setup of Nigeria’s Financial Industry CERT ($12.5M) and the implementation of the first enterprise IT Disaster Recovery solution for the Central Bank of Nigeria. Her expertise includes overseeing ISO 27001 compliance initiatives, conducting risk assessments for national payment systems, and operationalizing cybersecurity threat intelligence across Nigeria’s financial sector.
Holding an M.Sc. in Microprocessor & Control Engineering and a B.Sc. in Computer Science, Uche possesses certifications such as C|CISO, CISM, CISA, CGEIT, PMP, CSSBB, and ISO 22301 Lead Implementer.
